I have a Nvidia Geforce 7600 GT
I don?t remember when I bought it but it was over a year ago and has served me well all this time till now maybe ?

Ok monitor number one
I notice that the picture in games would sometimes jump
the one day POOF monitor just died

Ok monitor number two
same as above

I?m on monitor number three now
I notice a slight shift in the picture in a game and turned everything off and pulled the plugs

what I want to know is this
Can the video card be blowing monitors and if so how

some things I looked at today
Voltage coming from the power supply is steady and in normal range
only the 12v rail is slightly low 11.88 (according to a volt meter)
the frequency input to the monitor is normal but if it was out of range the monitor would go dark or show an out of range message anyway.
the video card is NOT over clocked but the cpu is slightly but this has never been a problem and has been like this over 2 years
oh and one last thing I never noticed the picture jump in windows,
this does not really mean it didn?t just that I didn?t notice it if it did.
and it?s very noticeable in video games but when I?m playing a game I?m constantly looking at the picture.
when I?m surfing the web or doing other stuff then playing a game I?m not constantly staring at the monitor. Unless I?m reading a long post or news article.
This all may just be a coincidence, the 2 monitors blowing
and just panicked at the game in a normal shifting of the screen as the game or computer waited for some info or something.

so what do you think and
if you can help
please do

I have never seen a video card damage a monitor. The only way you could even do any damage to a monitor through software is to run a CRT at a higher refresh rate than the monitor can handle.

But for your monitor's to blow up like that is not caused by your video card. Try purchasing a battery back up or APC for your pc and monitor if you don't have one already.

Update

i am positive NOW
the 3rd monitors picture DOSE jump like the first 2 were doing before they blew
i give this monitor only a few more days to live if i am right on what caused the first 2 to blow (If that long the second one blew in 48 hours lucky i get these 21 inchers for 15 and 20 bucks)

I tend to agree with you Daveybrat
but something aint right
and the picture dose jump in windows
this time when it happened i took note of it

but if it's NOT the video card nothing elese could be blowing them
because i do have a power conditioner with battery backup
and yes it's working fine also because that was the first thing i checked
after the first monitor

Can you try a surge suppressor? Or another power strip?
Maybe a different power cord for the monitor?

Sounds like you got power surge going through that outlet every so often. Or something is drawing more juice causing power to flux. I'm not an electrician but if you have a lot of thunderstorms in the area it could fry all your hardware if it isn't properly grounded. Even with proper grounding it could still fry I think. A friend of mine had his 3 systems and a bose system along with a big screen tv fried in a storm.
