Can an AT do ATX?

I recently came into an AT case and WIN 95 system I built for my brother almost 6 years ago. I frankly don't remember much about the unit though I built it. It has an Intergraph video card (PCI), a huge creative sound card and 3com modem that are in the old pre-PCI slots. I have no idea what the name of the mobo is but it has a VX Two north and south bridge and a socket 7 intel CPU Pentium II (?) 233. There,s a WD hard drive Caviar 36400. My brother said it works and can I upgrade it? I told him to forget it as far as upgrading and I couldn't even check it out since he didn't give me th keyboard and mouse and I had nothing that fit those old keyboard connectors and no serial mouse. Any way, what I wonder is can this old AT case be salvaged to ATX? Or should it go to landfill?

Put it on FS/T forum for $1 plus shipping. Someone looking to play old DOS and Win95 games might want it.

Every part is useless to put into a modern computer.

if it doesn't have an atx connector onboard (i've seen a motherboard with both at & atx power connector) by doing some modifications, i think an atx ps would work correctly, however it might not worth the trouble, alo the atx function would not work (i.e soft power, wol).

Well, that PC is junk, surprised to see one of those WD AC36400 drives still among the living, they often had problems. About the only thing possibly worth-while saving might be the physical case itself. If you want to put an AT-style board in there, that has both AT and ATX connectors (there were a few Socket7 boards made like that, DFI/FIC made some), you could mount an ATX PSU, and then just wire the "turbo" or better "sleep" switch to the ATX power-on header on the mobo. (Or wire the reset switch to power-on, and wire turbo to reset, you'll have to hit the turbo button twice, but big deal.)
