Can't seem to figure this out

I've tried everything but I can't seem to figure this out. I have several XviD avi files that I can only open by clicking on them through utorrent. If I try to open them from their actual location they won't play.

When I click on the files through utorrent they all open and play all the way through so they can't be corrupted right? I have the latest Divx and XviD codecs. When I open one of the files with gspot it says its not a valid avi file.

I'm just confused as to why I can open the files through utorrent but not from their actual location on the hard drive. Any ideas?

Are you still seeding the files? Try removing/stopping the upload as it could be causing some crazy problem if the file is locked. [/long shot]

Wow. Somehow during the download the program set up two different folders. The files I was trying to open were exactly the same as the real files- same names, took up the same amout of space....but there was actually nothing there the real files were in some other folder, which is where utorrent and winamp were actually reading from. I feel dumb.
