I noticed that my rear speakers weren't working, and so i tried to get into the soundstorm control panel to see what was up, but when i try to open it, it says:
"SndStorm.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"
I tried updating both the nforce unified driver and the audio driver, however when i open the download, the setup says its opening the files to install, then just seems to quit and doesn't do anything
I checked using nVidia's system utility and it said the audio driver version was 4.31 (newest), however soundstorm still doesn't work
I tried restarting and trying to reinstall, but nothing and my rear speakers are still dead
How do i get soundstorm to work again?
using QCD player newest version
Athlon XP 1700+ @ 2.2ghz
768MB (2x256 mushkin, 1x256 OCZ, PC3200)
Abit Nf7-S 2.0 bios last updated somewhen in november or something (long time ago)
Radeon 9500 Pro @315/297
Altec Lansing 5.1 251 series speakers
Logitech Elite Duo
Thanks
