I'm replacing caps in an old tube amp and have a question or two. It's been forever since I did this kind of work and even then it was more of a hobby, bu I don't remember what this type of cap is called. It has 1 lead on one end and 2 on the other and it's a 25MF-25MF-25V.
It's 2 caps in one but what's the official name for this type of cap? Since it's marked 25mf-25mf-25v can I replace it by laying two 25u x 25V axial electrolytics in parallel?
Many thanks!
