Car Insurance Bill

Its May 12th and my car insurance bill was due on May 1st. NOT good. I forgot to pay it.

most co's usually have a grace period after the due date.

So pay it ASAP on Monday
And don't drive today or tomorrow.

yeah.. are they close? you should be good until .. wednesday probably.. as long as they get it by then.. if you normally pay by check in the mail and it has to go far I'd call 'em monday and see if you can debit it, but if it doesn't have to go so far you're sure it'll get there by wednesday if you mail it monday, that oughta do the job too.

I believe that most grace periods are fairly long.

I'm afraid to trust my memory.

why? most of them have 30 day grace period.

I always pay late out of habit. Couple times I've gone over the 30 day grace period.

What insurance company do you have? If you don't have NJ Manufacturers Insurance, you need to get your employer to join the New Jersey Business and Industry Association so you can get NJM insurance. They're so awesome, they'd probably apologize to you for setting your due date earlier than you paid.
