volkswagen squareback (teenager, my car - rugged piece of german crap that refused to die inspite of utter neglect)

bmw 320i (young adult, first car i bought - lots of expensive repairs, fickle car - loved every minute of owning it)
honda accord (got married, wifey's car - practical)
ford taurus wagon (had a kid - got rid of honda, got a station wagon - actually quite a reliable car)
toyota previa van (had more kids - got rid of bmw (sob! sob!) got a minivan)
ford windstar van (gave wagon to niece as a present, wife "upgrades" minivan to get airbags)
toyota sienna (wife hates windstar - unreliable POS - gets rid of it and gets sienna - loves it)
honda civic (my first born gets her first car! promptly has two fender benders!)
lexus gs300 (wifey talks me into getting rid of 11 year old Previa [i protest since now i am a cheapskate] and getting a new car)

from boy to fat middle aged man - an automotive evolution!
