Case Fan Problem (Help):

I just got done building a box to play MP3s, and do mIRC stuff using an Asus A7N266-VM motherboard. Everything is working perfectly, except the fan. It's plugged into the fan header "CH_FAN", which is the proper header, and will not work properly. Occasionally, it will spin for a fraction of a second. Manually spinning the fan with my hand made the fan start spinning for a few seconds a couple of times. All the wires look like they go into the proper element of the fan, and there are no visual problems. The fan is an 80mm fan that came with the case, which is an Enlight.

I'm really stumped on this one, any ideas? Thanks for any responses I get.

I got the enermax. Does it spin at all, i mean, really, really slow? If so, then u, just like i, got the "noise reduction PSU". Fan will gain RPM as the temperature inside the case goes up. If not, check the connector of the fan.are the wires loose? try to secure them if they are, using some duct tape, but before that make sure that the wires themeselves are in contact with the connector

Squidman, during the times I mentioned, it will spin very slowly. I would say <150 RPM. The wires contact the connector. I'm almost positive it isn't a wire problem.

Just something to add, my termperates are under 25C from the readings in the BIOS.

Oops, I mispoke about my case. It's an Enlight, not an Enermax. Sorry.
