Case questions

Im looking for a case to replace my trusty old Enlight.
It must have room for at least one fan in the front(intake) and one in the back(blowout).
And preferably 4 5.25 bays.

I found a case that fits my bill perfectly, this one looks mighty neato.

The problem is, its expensive as $hit, 260 friggin bucks .
Made out of aluminum and stuff, which isnt my top priority.

But something along those lines for a little less would be nice.

I have an Addtronics that has all the features you want. It has two intake fans with filters. One out in the back and one out in the top of each door. Total 5 fans plus P/S fan for 6. Both doors swing out and are removeable. Top comes off and the mobo tray is removeable as well. 5 X 5.25 drive bays and 3X 3.5 bays.

mine is a 6890A. The are spendy but not to bad. $134 with a 300W P/S Addtronics cases

i can get you a clear acrylic case with holes for 50 80mm fans, (2 in front, 1 in back, 1 on side and 1 on top) for less that thats, with the same number of bays

Well, the problem is, Im in Sweden, so unless you're living around here somewhere as well, transport is gonna be a problem.

Found two places that have the Addtronics case though, I'll probabaly go with those, they seem cool/good/great/excellent/nice/neat/marvelous.

What's wrong with a trusty new Enlight 7237, has all the features you want plus it's half the price of the Addtronics .................. also half the weight!

Looking at both the Addtronics looks somewhat more geared towards people with high cooling needs(that would be me).
Granted it is half the price, but since we're not exactly talking about a fortune here, thats no biggie really, heck I can spend more than $75 on beer on a good evening

I bought mine because at the time I built my unit PC Gamer said they were the bomb. Actually, PC Gamer built the "ultimate" gaming machine and I bought the exact same stuff they did. Except they bought a P3 500 Katmai and I got the 550. Hey, it was awhile ago.

That aluminum case is sweet though. Too damn expensive however. I like the cardboard cases here.. check em out at the cool case gallery.

Aluminum cases are all show and no go!! Get a good Addtronics or Antec or some people's choice the InWinQ500 w/300W for $79 some places like the link below, sorry no pic though. You can mod the hell out of them and they are gigantic inside. Good luck.

What are you smoking? Aluminum cases all show no go? BS I have a Lian Li just like the one in the picture on top. I have a T-bird 900 over clocked SB live IBM Deskstar 7200RPM 27gb, Geforce 2 gts, Abit KT7. I run at 23.5C at idle and 25.6C after 4 hours of Counter-Strike. I have an Alpha. All stock fans. Have you even tried Aluminum cases? Or are you mad at everyone else because you got screwed and bought a cheap plastic one? All show no go? How about now?
Go Lian Li it is one of the best cases I have ever seen or owned you will not be disappointed. It is really high quality Everyting slides together perfectly(No more hitting) It is Quiet and Provides more that enough cooling as you can see by my temps. The brushed Aluminum is really sharp and I can not get enough of it. It is designed really well everything slides or pops out.
Go to mwave.com and look under aluminum cases for PC-60 it was $185.20 shipped wtih NO power supply. It calls it generic But that is where I ordered from and it is a TRUE Lian Li case. It comes in the factory Lian Li box well packedeged. Good luck

I agree with you the Lian Li's are beauties ................. I saw one on display at Fry's!
I think that the most "Bang - for - the - Buck" in pc cases is still the cheaper Antec SX's or the Fong-Kai 603, 320, or even the cheaper InWin s-500 or Enlight 7237 ..................?
Just my .02, ........... no one else really sees my pc, except people who really don't know the difference,....... so what the hey ........ ?
