hi, some of you might remember, but i adapted a cat about 2.5 weeks ago. (yeah, i decided to keep it).
it's 2 year old male. so far it has adjusted to new envirnoments pretty well and seems like its comfortable (sleeping on my stomach and such.
however there is a problem.. there is a strong odor in my living room.. it smells like an old sock of some sort.. and its not the smell from his litter box. his litter box is in the wash room and when he does his "business", the smell is different.
someone suggested this is due to "cat in heat" and the smell is from its sperm... and said that spaying it would fix the problem..
is this true?
if any of you can give me info about this i would really appreciate it.. should i go with the operation anyways(since some say its better for the cat)?
