I found some nokia face plates for about 3.99. shipping was a bit steep, but if you buy a couple it comes out to a good deal. check out batteries and light up antenas too!
"Free buttons and keypads"... but it's $1.50 for shipping on each additional item past the first. Nevertheless.. still ordered blue keypad, golden button (GO BEARS), and a vibrating battery (dont ask)
Prices at freedommobile.com are low but I couldn't find an email address for contact. Also no mention of how much shipping will be, at least not before I put in my CC#.
http://www.marquel.com also has very good prices and their service is outstanding. They have stuff for all major phones, including Samsung (not that I care with my badass Motorola ST7867W :~).
Can anyone comment on the quality of these hands-free devices vs. those that cost $20 or 30 at OfficeMax/BB/etc.? Those prices are great. I particularly like the all-in-one hands free model at cellphoneshop and the over-the-ear one at freedommobile. My roomate just paid $40 for a Jabra all-in-one set. I wonder if they're similar quality?
I think the quality of a headset is actually fairly important, at least to me. I recently got a bitchen' Plantronics headset from Marquel that I really like, for $40. It is convertible from over-the-ear to over-the-head, and has separate volume controls for the earpiece and microphone, as well as a mute switch. Very comfy as well. In all fairness I have only handled the cheapies but I feel like this was a good investment.
Samsung phones are my favorite because of the voice dialing. But I can't find a short stubby antenna for either of my Samsung phones. Either the 3500 or the 8500. This is my big problem with these phone. The antenna sticks out about an inch and makes it difficult to carry in your pocket or even carry on your belt.
Tee Edwards: (WHOA - new icons! - sorry)
I was looking at the Plantronics headsets and really liked the convertible one, but I thought it was $50 at BB. Can I ask where you got it for $40 and what model it is? I can't find it on the Plantronics website.
TIA.
Edit: I think I found it. The M170. $60?! Okay, where'd you get it so cheap? Is it really comfortable?
I got an awesome 3200 mah Li-ION vibrating battery from www.sellsupplies.com for $29.95 plus shipping. It is a bit thicker but I don't have to recharge for ~20 days! They have a 3400 mah for ten bucks more - not worth the extra ten spot for me.
I haven't compared their other prices but got fast service.
I just found the Plantronics M-175, MSRP $60, for $23.99 at Egghead. Wow! If the quality is anywhere near as good as the Plantronic devices we have at work, I'll be overwhelmed.
