thanks jaredfs, I know this isn't going to turn into my job, but I play a lot of On-Line Poker maybe 4-5 hours a day. And I end up spending a lot of that time waiting for my turn, this could fill that time nicely with something that makes me a few bucks. I have a pretty shitty record with job interviews and actually getting a job. I know this isn't a "job" job. But if I somehow don't get it I'll be mad as hell. If I'm not cut out to be a ChaCha guide maybe I'm not cut out to do anything lol.


I calculated how much Poker I play and it seems like $7/hour for this is reasonable, so assuming they'd let me do it 5 hours a day 7 days a week that would be 12,740k a year. The time I play Poker is time I'm on my PC with nothing better to do. Even if they only let me do it 3 hours a day, it would still be some extra dollars, my GF is less than impressed when I told her. I tried to explain how it's just something to do while I'm already online and playing Poker. And will result in some cash I could spend on her. She told me

"well stop playing so much damn Poker and go get a 2nd job!" Females never see the glass as half full LOL.

You have to answer them at about 1 per minute to make 10$ an hour.

Newbies start off at .15 and once pass the newbie level it is .20

Don't expect to answer questions that fast, though. Especially when starting out.

Well it's not like I plan to make it my job, hell as it stands while I'm waiting for slow asses at the poker tables to play I'm typically browsing Youtube which nets me zero dollars an hour. if I make 4 bucks an hour I'm cool. I waste countless hours playing Poker online, might as well throw in something that's gonna earn me some chump change while I'm wasting my time.

They have quality control people that monitor the answers. I'm guessing that they carefully watch the newer guides, but with experienced guides they probably just look at a certain percentage of your answers.

got approval today, I don't have a bank account so I signed up for the debit card, I turned my away off and got 6 questions already. It might get boring but I'm having fun so far, even if I'm not going to make a ton of money this seems like something I could do a decent amount of hours each day. I don't know if I have to wait till I get the debit card to actually start earning so I'm going to stop for now.

got a couple interesting questions, I can see myself learning a lot even if it's mostly useless information lol.

Their website is pretty slow. It occasionally goes down for me during peak times. Sometimes the questions take 20 seconds to load. I try and use it in off-peak times (After 8) and it seems to work better then

I got a buttload of the 500 errors too, I just hit reload and it worked on the reload. Weird how it seemed every page 500'ed a single time though.

I can't comment on the speed as my internet isn't blazingly fast, just the free Wifi my city offers.

You don't have to wait for the debit card, it will keep track of what you've earned.


They have been having lag issues because so many people keep finding out about the service. Peek times are probably 5-12 pm eastern, so I wouldn't take any tests around then. I believe there is a contact number on the chacha.com page if anyone has any issues.
