Changeing Hardrive from I:/ to C:/

My hardrive is on I:/ I'm use to having hard drives on C:/ is there anyway to change it from i:/ to c:/ thanx

Right click on My Computer. Then go to Manage. Then Storage. Then Disk Management. Right click on the drive you want to change and choose Change Drive & Path Letters.

Is this the only hard drive in your system?

I don't know if you can change the boot drive letter (I've never tried it) but you should be able to do it if you right click on "My Computer" go to manage and then disk management. You should be able to change the drive letter from there.

You can't change the boot drive letter unfortunately.

you can change the boot drive letter by changing the mapping in the registry.

Even if you can change the drive letter of the XP drive, which you cannot, you will make it useless since there are hard-coded links to the content on the XP drive. If you change the drive letter, all those links will be to a non-existing, or incorrect, drive resulting in malfunction.

Your best bet is to disconnect the other drives in your system and re-install XP. It is always best to disconnect the other drives when you install just for this reason.
