Cheap CD Writer

I'm going to buy CD writer and spend only 100-110$...any advice?

Definitively Mitsumi CR-4804TE. Wide program compitability(Except CD-text in nero) and few problems. Burned 1000+ CD's with mine, no problems.

i'd spend the extra $30 and get a quality retail box drive like the Plextor 8/4/32 for $144 (compuplus.com). I just researched this off pricewatch today and recommended it to a friend.

Or for 150 you can by my 12x scsi drive and card

But, seriously, If you look around the retailers around christmas time...they will probably do some kind of 99 dollar promotion like they did last year....Otherwise, I'd check out pricewatch.

Really depends on how much you plan on burning...but Yamaha, HP, Plextor...seem to all stand up well.

Try Mitsumi, Or a 8x Plextor. Try see if you can get a 8x TDK or something like that.
