Cheap System to build

My cousin wants me to build a cheap system for her. She will do nothing but play solitare, surf the internet, and type in word. I was thinking:
Intel 810 w\integrated sound + video + modem
Celeron 566Mhz
128MB PC100
Maxtor or IBM 15gig 7200rpm
some kind of 40x-50x cdrom
and a little cheap case
and a cheap 15" monitor from CompUSA
WHAT DO YOU THINK
no voodoos or geforce please she doesnt play games at all. Trying to stay under $600-$700.

Looks like a decent system, although I'm not familiar with the motherboard. It's probably overkill for what she's doing, but then again you really can't get much less of a system these days.

You could decrease the amount of RAM to 64, or to 32 and then add a cheap PCI video card with 8mb RAM. You could also decrease the HD size to the smallest you can get your hands on... 15 GB is generous and if your cousin does not plan on getting a cable modem/dsl or another high speed connection, anything greater than 6 GB just is not needed. As far as the processor, its good, Duron's are a better value (faster and cheaper), but they don't have a completely integreated platform yet... Make sure that the CD-ROM drive is name brand though because it makes a difference in reliability. Don't forget a floppy drive...

no not overkill, it has 4mb cache for video and everything is integrated on the board. A very cheap board, but good for what she needs it for.

I just put 128 on there because it is so cheap and 128 can go a long way

Why not get a cheap/used 15" monitor?
Might save some more money there...
