Cheap Trick's New Release ROCKFORD

Cheap Trick released a new CD entitled Rockford.

If you haven't listened to it, do yourself a favor and listen to it here!.

This is their best material since Dream Police. Rockford has been receiving good reviews.
For those of you who are saying, "Cheap Trick sucks," I do believe you'll change your tune after listening.

I still remember when Cheap Trick hit the scene back in the late 70's and I loved their unique rock sound. I tried to listen to the new stuff and well it doesn't hold a candle to to their older music. If you want to hear an old band that is trying to make a comeback listen to the new Cars with Todd Rundgren singing. Now they sound pretty good and I'm listening to them right now.

I just missed them a couple of weeks ago when they had a concert around the corner from me here.

I'm surprised to see the smoking Bun E Carlos still alive. Maybe he laid off the cigs some and has actually aged pretty much better than the rest.

Yeah, I have listened to it. I'm a big Rundgren fan, and I was surprised to hear he would be the new front man for The New Cars. Rundgren sounds surprisingly good singing the classic Cars tunes.

Bun E. actually quit smoking a number of years ago. I'm seeing Cheap Trick in Atlantic City on the 30th. This will be my 31st time. I hope they play a lot of new tunes.

i was thinking about going to a cheap trick concert, but unfortunately they were touring with aerosmith which would have ruined the concert. luckily the steve tyler needed throat surgury or whatever.

Yes, it was strange hearing the Cars do an old Todd Rundgren Pop 40 tune.
