cheat sheet threads locked?

I think it's appropriate to question why the threads regarding Kerry's pockets got locked but the one on Bush's earpiece remains open. I can understand locking the repost, but not the original.

It might be because the OP (ME) claims I do not think he did use an earpiece..

I was so fvcking MAD when I read on another forum how a Rep.. was claiming KERRY CHEATED KERRY CHEATED.... aobut some piece of paper that the rules allowed... whoat a joke..

Is someone trying to win a "stupidest post ever" award with this thread?? If you are gonna take a cheat sheet into a nationally televised debate, do you face the crowd and pull it out of your front pocket and then put it down on the podium in front of you? I kinda doubt it...

The question I'd like to ask is what do you do if your guy gets his a$$ handed to him so badly in the debate by Kerry that you can't really spin it to your advantage? It appears that the answer for some is to create a diversion by discussing crap...

I agree that Kerry had nothing to gain by bringing in a cheat sheet. I don't know what he could possibly have on a card that size that would benefit him.

Heck, they agreed to the rules. If I was in the the bush camp I'd have asked for a stand-in....lol.

However, it does appear that he took something out of his pocket. What was it?

I'm not suggesting in any way that Kerry was underhanded in what was a decisive victory.

Perhaps it was an electronic device that affected bush's speech?

Dunno, just that it is an observation that seems to have no current explanation.

I can't believe people are even talking about this, it's so stupid--speculative nonsense. It's almost as dumb as the whole Kerry got a manicure issue. Is it so hard to stick to a discussion of the issues? If you really believed in your candidate and that his message is right, why is all of this other garbage necessary? I'm sure both sides spew out their fair share of useless things. Everybody needs to grow up, this is an election for the most powerful seat in the world, not a high school popularity contest.

Interesting. I heard from the mods when I first started posting about, well, last year sometime. I haven't heard from them since. I wasn't aware you could PM them, I thought you could only pray to them or offer burnt offerings.
