It's obvious that you can't handle what little finances you have, or don't have for that manner. You have a lot of money but can't be bothered to know which account it's in and spend accordingly? I think that banks deserve the money they nail fools like you for. Banks arn't out there to be ethical, they are out there to make money on fees and interest based on the agreement you sign as a member of the bank.
The reality is that you're pissed that you were dumb enough to keep making charges to an account with no money in it, and then try and blame the whole thing on the "unethical" practices of financial institutions. Is this your first time doing business with a bank?
Mabey you should look into another bank, and if you do, read the fine print when you open the account.
I have overdraft protection that costs me like a whopping $10/year. I can run up a few thousand dollars of overdrafts without any fees at all. The money is pulled from my line of credit.
I really have very little sympathy for you in this matter. Ignorance of a law or rule is no excuse and trying to call out banks for "unethical" practices just makes you look like a fool.
Oh well, have fun paying your $750 in fees.
