Where do we start?.... I think we already have...
Now there may be disagreements on where we go from here, but we most definately have started.

Haven't you heard? There was no connection between Iraq and the terrorists that attacked America.
Bush hasn't started facing terrorists. He ignored the threat, then he ignored those who carried out the threat. Now he has America mired in a fiasco that the terrorists' who attacked our nation could only dream of before Bush made it a reality.

So let me get this straight...we can't touch terrorists that don't touch us? Then you have the nerve to claim the threat was ignored. So what exactly should have been done with this threat you now see in you post 9/11 view? Remember - we can't touch those who haven't touched us(according to your "logic")
Oh, and haven't you heard...we went to Afghanistan. I suppose that is what you call "ignored the threat"
Keep blaming America(Bush) if you wish though....
Anyway - it most definately has started no matter how hard you try to claim it hasn't.

Don't put words in my mouth. I never said we can't 'touch' those who haven't touched us. Bush failed to 'touch' those who planned on 'touching' us. The terrorists that 'touched' us are still roaming Earth free while Bush depletes resources in a nation that not only didn't pose a threat, but as we all now know, couldn't pose a threat even if they wanted to, and they didn't want to.
The threat was ignored. Read Richard Clarke's book. Bush was focused on his version of Star Wars while Osama planned his attack. Bush ignored the warnings from career intelligence officers and went on vacation the month before they struck. After 9/11 Bush's first reaction was to attack Iraq unprovoked. I'll keep blaming Bush because it is his malfeasance that has led us into this quagmire. And please, don't confuse America with Bush.
America(Bush)
I find that incredibly insulting.
You have a very crass way of attempting to twist not only my words but historical fact as well. Your fantasyland version of events won't fly in the face of what is now irrefutable fact. Bush ignored the threat that led to 9/11. Bush ignored capturing the people who were responsible. Bush invaded Iraq unprovoked and in doing so has caused more harm to America than the terrorists he failed to bring to justice.

I don't care who you asked - it wasn't me so are you going to continue to ignore it?
It's not obfuscation - it's a clarification question. I won't hold my breath waiting for either of you to answer it though...

It's funny how when Clinton went into the hospital and had surgury, even the republicans wished him well. There wasn't much hostility because he was a human being. Now, Cheny is in the hospital and we see the true nature of the liberals. :|
