They're going to be overclocked with a E2160 (to around 2.8 ghz)

Which one should I probably avoid or choose?
  1. EVGA Motherboard 112-CK-NF75-K1 nForce 630i LGA775 FSB1333MHz 2DDR2 SATAII RAID Video Audio Gb LAN mATX (112-CK-NF75-K1) $71.50
  1. GIGABYTE SKT775 INTL G31+ICH7 2PCI/PCI-EX1 2D.DDR2 1PCI-E16X 1333/1066FSB SATA GBLAN M.ATX (GA-G31M-S2L) $77.50
  1. ASUS SKT.775 NF610I M.ATX 2PCI /1PCI-E1X/PCI-E16X/2DDR2/1333 1066FSB SATA RAID,HD AUDIO LAN (P5N-MX) $64.99
  1. GIGABYTE SKT.775 NVIDIA NF7050 2PCI/1PCI-EX1 2DDR2 PCI-EX16 1066 FSB SATA GBLAN AUD M.ATX (GA-73VM-S2) $66.00

Price is an important factor because I'm building several of them. Overclocking ability and (probably) low temps are also important. Any other feature is probably not important. Board has to be microATX

If it HAS to be one of those boards (I recoomend you spend more for a ASUS P5K-VM or at least a MSI G33M,those boards OC pretty good, the ASUS is better, but more cash though) then the G31 board would be my first choice.

Abit IP35-E is not sold in my area and I cannot claim US rebates.

I can't go higher than that because price is a large factor. I'm going to be building atleast 4 of these systems and it's not my money. I just need decent overclocking ability/options and stability. Max budget is less than $80.

I'd definitely go with better boards if the $ was there but it's ultra-budget.

If anyone has overclocked a e1200 or a e2xxx cpu firsthand on these boards easily, please speakup.

I forgot to add it has to be a micro-ATX board heh.

Ontario, Canada...near Toronto. The stores around here don't really stock too many Abit items for some reason. Lotsa asus and gigabyte though. I can get the Abit IP35 Pro...just not the IP35-E, not popular enough i guess.

ip35pro over clocks as good as ip35-e and has more bells and whistles, its more expensive thus not as popular

Kalster, not to be rude, but the guy just said he can't find stores that stock Abit in his area... Plus he asked for budget boards...

I understand, in the post above mine, he was wondering why the ip35-e was more popular, i was not saying he should buy it

Not many of the mATX mobos overclock. Manufacturers dont usually bother to allow for it in their BIOSes. Only a handful of models do overclock and most of them are made by ASUS and Gigabyte and their price starts just over $100 usually.

Good thread I'm looking for a budget board as well.
Are there any problems with any of the 4 motherboards listed? Or are they all pretty decent?

Budget? What are you gonna use this board for (Like what kind of rig will be centered around it) Any brand preferences?

Looking to build to replace a A64 system which has gotten flaky so thinking of a E21xx or E4400 build because of great bang/buck. Basically a basic light gaming rig so I don't need many PCI slots.

Not interested in ocing. No brand preference, quality and stability is more important.

I've heard lots of good things about Gigabyte boards in quality and stability, you could try for the G33M-DS2R.
