Mr. Carrico,
And, pray tell, who are this 270 million? Finish that last homework assignment for your Hooked-on-Phonics course and then reread what I wrote. It is clear that I address those who callously and arrogantly dismiss the damage done in Vietnam either becuase (1) they see it as a justification for the preservation of their family members who were unnecessarily placed into the situation and/or (2) who feel that some people's lives are not worth as much as their own.

The current population of the U.S. is closer to 300 million.

You're right, I was wrong. The current population of the U.S. is closer to 300 million.

Most of you pipsqueaks have never left your state, let alone own a passport, yet have no problem brushing off the plight millions of people on this planet with a flick of the wrist. I see where you learn it from - the leaders of our country do the exact same thing...
When pushed into a corner, most of you bring out the "my father was there" argument as some sort of justification for the need to gas, poison and destroy generations of people, yet fail to realize that Vietnam was a situation in which WE INJECTED OURSELVES. Your "father was there" because he was a peon ruled by a selfish and arrogant leadership. The people you should view with contempt are not the poor, disfigured people of Vietnam but the scumbags who used your father as a chess piece in their political game.
I went to Vietnam this summer, and I'll tell you - they were such welcoming and warm people. Despite 1/100th of the education opportunities and experience we have here, most of the population, unlike you morons, have the intellectual depth to understand the political dynamic that led to this. They don't blame your fathers, they blame our leaders. Why don't you?

*sigh* If anyone ACTUALY read about this then they would know that around 10k US veterans are getting money for damages. What do they mean that "no evidence that agent orange caused health" problems and birth defects? Then why the hell is the govt paying for 10k veteran's medical bill? Everyone knows that Agent Orange caused health problems, the US troops were just operation in the area and got affected, so how badly do you think the Vietnamese had it when they were directly sprayed? 'Nough said, think logicaly. Its even in the records that over 3100 Viet villages were sprayed "direcrly". There you have it.

If they added ingredients into the bullets, such that any future offspring born to those who happened to have been shot in the past, would have hideous genetic defects, then yes, perhaps they should be sued, especially if those added ingredients and their effects were not clearly disclosed to those involved with the use of those items (bullets, in this case).Originally posted by: daniel1113
We should also sue gun makers every time some idiot decides to shoot someone :roll:Originally posted by: DearQT
Woah! I hope they fight this out and to the finish! :| At the very least the companies or responsible parties should clean up the mess made and left!
