Cinebench 11.5 Released

From the article linked in this thread, I've learned that new version of Cinebench has been released. I gave a quick run on my 955 BE. It felt easier than R10 to which overclocked Deneb is extremely sensitive.



It gave me errors when I attempted to run the OpenGL test.

I got 42.74 fps on OpenGL (beat everything except the 12c/12t ati Firepro box)
And 6.65 on the CPU (beat everything except 12c and 8c boxes)

Currently running 3.0 just like you are, but maybe the extra memory and bandwidth make a tiny difference.

Thank you. Just figured out that I needed to disable AF (which I set at x16 all the time) from CCC. I'm only getting 31 FPS with a stock 5870. WTF.

Someone ran it with an overclocked Gulftown -> 10.94 (How does 4GB of RAM work out for triple-channel?)

I got 31ish FPS with a 512MB 4850. Low score I suppose, but about right for a 4850.

Re-ran it with Catalyst AI disabled and it gave me extra 1 FPS. Ugh.

1. Take a screenshot (PrtScr on the keyboard), open Paint and paste it. (Ctrl+V)
2. Crop the portion of the screen you want to post and save it as .jpg or .png.
3. Go to Imageshack.us and upload it. It will give you links for forums.

@Tsavo: Thank you for the result. It gives a reference point for non-HT Nehalem. The MP ratio is outstanding.

As for OpenGL, judging from your result and n7's (compared to mine):

1) HD 5800's drivers aren't ready for the test, or
2) CPU actually matters for the OpenGL scores.

Did your OpenGL score go up when you raised the CPU from 3.2 GHz to 3.6 GHz?

cpu test:
@ 3.8ghz core, 2.6ghz NB = 4.44
@ stock speeds = 3.58
opengl test: 44.16fps

The openGL test must like nvidia cards or something.

Hm, interesting. So the Ph2 on DDR2 is ALMOST as fast clock/clock (assuming CPU-NB is actually clocked at what it can handle) as the Penryns. I had 4.06 points.
Would love to see someone with a q6600 OC'd to 3.4Ghz chime in with pics.

Yeah I'm not sure whats going on there. I ran the single core test right after the multicore test at the same settings and everything. There seems to be a pretty big variation in the score in different runs, around += .15 points for the multicore test.

Next up dual Xeon W5580 with Quadro FX4800.

I also want to try a 5970 to see if its OpenGL score is better than the GTX285 but I doubt it since ATi's OpenGL seems to have quirks.

I would hope so with two more cores. Is that your 24/7 stable clock? Say 300 minutes of LinX with max problem size or OCCT infinite running 24 hours or more?

I'm pretty sure the T7500s will beat that single GT. STOCK.

All those W5580s can clock well over 4GHz too. Pity they are locked down in Dell Hell at 3.3GHz. (turbo)

Looks like OpenGL on the 5970 does indeed suck!

It runs noticeably choppier throughout and the first part of the chase scene actually chokes a few times!
