Cleaning the Registry

Hey guys, once again im calling on the AT members infinite wisdom for help. I took it upon myself to try to clean my registry since it has been a while. I looked around for a while to see what were the better programs out there for such a task. I come up with TweakNow Regcleaner and Eusing Free Registry Cleaner. so i start with Eusing and it comes up with something like 8000 problems, most of which and when i say most i mean MOST of them are paths involving WOW6432NODE. so since im unsure i scan with TweakNow and it only comes up with 78 problems (none of which or very few of which involve this WOW6432NODE thing). im looking for general advice essentially. are there better reg cleaners that are free out there that anyone can recommend? should i clean all those WOW6432NODE "problems"?

Try CCleaner. Have you found out what the WOW6432NODE is? Like if it is a program that you uninstalled?

yeah i found that out. so does that mean that it is ok to clear those entries. im wondering because 1 program considered it clean worthy and another didnt.

CCleaner makes a back up if needed, I think Eusing does too.

Erunt is a program for just backing up the registry.

You could always manually backup your Registry before doing anything to it.
