I was running out of room on my Maxtor 250gb PATA so I bought a Seagate 500 gb SATA drive. After trying to install it in my case I found it conflicting with my video card so I left the new SATA in the case and installed my original in a USB case I had. I tried to use Seagate DiscWizard to clone my PATA to the new SATA but although both drives were recognized in the software it would not allow me to clone USB to SATA. I d/l a trial of Acronis True Image and I did clone . Now my new drive works OK... but it shows up as a SCSI drive and on the taskbar under a" safely remove hardware balloon" as C, SCSI drive.Should I leave it alone or go into BIOS or some other setting and try to change it?
