Where do ya keep your grounds?? In the fridge, In the freezer, or on the counter?

air tight container. air = evil
moisture = evil
so if u buy a lot. keep most of it in an air tight container in the fridge or whatever. keep the rest in another air tight container in the pantry. otherwise eacht ime u open the big box it'll draw in condensation.

I store coffee in a clean, airtight glass container in my kitchen cupboard.

I don't have any "grounds", but I keep my whole beans in the fridge in one of the vegetable crispers.

Whole bean, countertop. There are too many smells in the refrigerator and freezer for the coffee to absorb.

Also, keeping grounds/beans in the fridge promotes condensation and moisture when accessing them, which as already stated is bad...

I was just watching something the other day and they were doing a clip on how to store coffee.. and it should be stored AIRTIGHT (ziploc bag) and not in the fridge/freezer)

I used to keep it in the freezer, but I go through it so fast, I just keep it on the counter top.

i used to order 2lbs a month. i would use 1 lb and store the other in a freezer. worked out fine.

I'd think countertop and cabinet were the same as theres really no difference in climate.

oh, and coffee BEANS go in freezer. coffee GROUNDS get made immediately before they get put in the filter.

I don't store grounds, I store beans. I grind/drink them fast enough that storage isn't an issue. For long life, I'd choose the freezer but I drink 16 oz of beans per week.
