If anyone was interested in what was different, Coke wanted to save money on materials and test the market to see how they'd like their cheaper formula. Instead of expensive sugar, Coke II used corn syrup. They didn't want to jeopardize their "Coca Cola" brand, so they made a new brand called "Coke II" and tried it out. People hated it so Coke pulled it from the market and re-marketed the original formula as "Coca Cola Classic"

Coca-Cola Classic contained high fructose corn syrup before New Coke existed. New Coke is basically Diet Coke sweetened with high fructose corn syrup instead of aspartame, had different amounts of lemon/orange oil, and used vanillin instead of vanilla.

The ingredients are marked on the can in the order of their content, greatest to least which is common information, but I do not know the exact quantities of course.
