Yeah, they're going to be better next year. This year, they just have too many young, inexperienced players who can't play consistently. Honestly, the only player on the team right now who plays every game is Caner-Medley...I mean, even Jamar Smith is inconsistent, and he's a senior. Oh, well.

I am being sincere though, I was impressed with Maryland when they played @ UNC. Gary Williams isn't a bad coach either, he'll mold those guys into a formidable team in the next few years.

What it's saying is that Wake was lucky to beat Duke. That Wake is a weak team and this was a once-in-a-career win.

Yeah..well...we are still doing OK. Just had a horrible night when it comes to shooting.

Hell, with the way they were shooting they should have lost by over 30. That has got to be the worst game they have played since they got destroyed by Maryland in the 1st round of the ACC tournament when State had won the regular season title.

I don't hate Dook; I live in Durham and can stagger back home from Sats or 9th street. I hate UNC (actually annoyed is a better word). But I honestly hate Wake Forest. With a reasonable passion too. And Winston-Salem is the armpit of NC anyway.

When I moved down to NC more than 10 years ago, I was told by new friends that I had to choose an ACC team to root for. I could cheer for other colleges outside the ACC but I'd have to pick an ACC college too. Because I have some floor space rented out in the NCSU craft center for my wood working, I choose NC State. And I have to admit it, the pack has given me heartburn both in football and baskeball.

But I still back the Pack!

Yeah, how many times did they call him on that? Twice? 3 times? It just seemed like UNC was running the game at such a fast pace that Maryland couldn't keep up. They made some bad decisions on a bunch of fast breaks in the first half, but again I think that was due mainly to inexperience. I kept waiting for UNC's lack of depth to catch up with them, but it never happened.

Neah Gastonia and Fayetteville are NC's two armpits. I've been to both and can confirm this. Durham gets a bad rap, but South Durham near the new mall is actually pretty nice.
