What I mainly ate in college was sandwiches, it was pretty cheap just to buy some bread, pepperoni, salami, ham, and cheese (my ghetto version of the Subway Italian BMT). Sometimes I'll buy some hotdogs and buns, hotdog buns are pretty good alternatives to sliced bread for those sandwiches too. Or if I'm really being cheap, I'll just a bag of popcorn as a meal for a day or week even, or just buy a case of ramen for the month. Soo basically I saved a ton of money by eating alot less (that money was used for beer and other stuff like bowling or movies), kept my weight stable even though I was drinking a massive amount of Coke, its funny how Soda is usually cheaper than water, and barely gained any weight... I actually lost weight being in college.
