I see very little benefits in staying with them after i fulfilled my 4 DVD at regular price requirement. I mean they're charging too much for their new released dvds, which I could buy at the store on their opening day for around $16. They are usually charging $20 for new releases and then factor the shipping and tax and the final price comes to around $25. I had one come out to $27 once and no it wasnt a box set or anything, just a regular dvd.
After you fulfilled the agreement, there's really nothing new. Just 99 cent shipping but not on your director's selection which is usually the newest release, $2 fun cash for every dvd you buy at REGULAR price, and the ocassional sale with dvds at $9-12 but after buying one at REGULAR price. They call this Preferred Member's benefits? please...
You might say that you get to do this all from home and dont have to get up to go to the store but their shipping is damn slow. I waited over a week just for Revolutions. I get my Netflix rentals in 1 day. This is really for people who dont care when their dvds will come.
