Nope, System Source .... 3rd floor, so I assume Marconi might be the second floor. 4th floor is where the free beer and hooker parties are ... thats a nice lunch break if I do say so myself .. probably why the survey rated the area so high as well.

I was there for Marconi ATM switch training but Marconi only has one floor of the building.
I had to stay the whole week in columbia even though I don't live TOO far away. i work in Reston/Chantilly but live much further away. I didn't care for columbia too much, but I'm from a very small town (~10k people) and don't like the congestion.
I don't live in Columbia but we do go to restaurants up there. Always seems like a safe place to me. I guess everywhere has problems at home point. I'll have to try that sushi place sometime, my wife loves the stuff.

i could take everything you just said and apply it to Baltimore as well... in fact, i just did. my gripe with Columbia, though, is that whereas Baltimore has a wide variety of *privately owned* bars and restaurants to appeal to any taste, Columbia is 95% filled with Subways, Quiznos, Olive Gardens, Outbacks, Paneras, etc, etc. there's no personality to Columbia.
I edited in the "because I fear for my safety" part...yes I was joking. Not joking about wanting to move though. And yes, I know that no part of DC is immune to crime. My coworker lives in Penn Quarter yet her car was stolen (from a private lot) and found 3 weeks later gutted in Anacostia.
