I have been considering this puppy. Would be GREAT for watching movies in widescreen BUT not so great for gaming because as far as I have been able make out it will support the needed resolutions but stretch the image to fit the screen.

<< One thing I didn't like about the monitor was that it isn't proportional. Normal screens have a 4:3 ratio (1600x1200, 800x600 resolutions). This monitor does not have that ratio. Although it will support the normal resolutions, it doesn't look right since the screen is wider than normal screens (in proportion to it's height)

I've been considering it as well. As far as stretching, you're right. However, you can override that and have it display in 4:3 (black bars on both sides) in games. Considering it's what, 13" tall, that's still a pretty big game screen! My understanding is that's easy to set with the controls on the monitor.

Anyone who actually OWNS one care to verify?
