computer boots to 8bit video? solved

ok, maybe someone can guide me in the right direction with this one... i am working on an hp computer and evertime it reboots it goes to 8bit video... i have updated the drivers, updated the bios... and it still boots to 8 bit

its and 865 chipset and it is using intel onboard video
