Computer Continuously Restarts at Desktop

Here's the computer I'm having problems with:

MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum
Athlon 64 3200+
Sapphire X1950Pro 512MB AGP
Samsung 160GB
Silverstone ST50EF-Plus
Sony CD-ROM

The video card, PSU and CD-ROM were installed last night. The hardware they replaced worked just fine, with no problems.

My problem:
After installing the new pieces, the computer booted up fine. Windows detected the video card, and I installed the drivers from the CD. Nearly immediately after installing the drivers, it started to restart continuously. I ended up replacing the new hardware with the old hardware, but it continued to restart. I tried taking out my RAM one by one, and it still restarted. I tried Repairing my Windows through the Boot Disc, that didn't work either.

So I put all the new hardware and RAM back in and started in Safe Mode. No problems with that. I can stay in Safe Mode as long as I want. I did a System Restore from 2 days ago and it restarts just fine. My computer runs perfect, except that I have no video card drivers. I then tried just updating my mobo drivers, and it started to restart again.

Right before going to bed, I reinstalled Windows using this method: http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm (reinstalls Windows but does not format the partition). I haven't been able to see if that fixed it yet, but if it doesn't, I assume my last hope would be to do a full reinstall of windows.

Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Welcome to the Forums Let me start with a silly question, did you get the video card's auxiliary power cables :camera: connected? It looks like it takes two of them :camera:; pick two that are on different branches of the PSU's wiring harness to spread out the amperage.

Beyond that, uninstall the drivers for the previous video card from Safe Mode if possible. If you do a reinstallation or a repair installation and your WinXP CD doesn't have Service Pack 2 in it, then also take worm precautions (scroll halfway down to the picture).

Yes I did connect the video card, but I did not connect it on different branches. I'll try that after work. But, I'm not sure if that would be the problem, since reinstalling my older video card did not seem to help the problem.

It looks like I will probably do a complete reinstall when I get home.

When you installed the new video card drivers did you uninstall the previous ones? Since it runs in Safe mode perfectly(which uses very basic video drivers) my impression is that the video card drivers are conflicting with each other.
