Computer Doesn't boot

I assembled my new computer and after I switch on the computer nothing happens.
No POST.
Power supply fan is not spinning.
CPU fan is not spinning.
No beeps.
But the small LED on the mother board lights up.

Please help !!!!

1. Post your hardware
2. Check all power connections
3. Make sure PSU fan is spinning
4. Check Power Switch

Oh, just make sure BOTH PSU plugs are in the mobo correctly

My hardware is
MOBO: Intel Desktop D875PBZ.
Processor: Intel 3.2 GHz HT
RAM: BuffaloTech 2X512 MB (Dual Channel)
PSU: Allied AL-A400ATX.
HD: WD 250 GB SATA Hard Drive
AGP: ATI Radeon All-in-Wonder 9600
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Audigy 2
I connected both the PSU plugs(2X2, 2X10) into the mobo.

If the power supply is not working then how come the small LED on the mother board lights up.

Try another power supply anyway. I've seen this happen tons of time and it turns out it was a bad psu.
It doesn't take much power to light up an led but when it comes to powering up the system, it may not cut it.

Edit: Btw, make sure you have the case connectors correctly connected to the motherboard. You might have the power switch connector plugged into the wrong thing.

Also ensure that your square 2x2 ATX12V cable is plugged in edit: never mind, I see you got that already, after confirming that the case's Power Button wire is on the correct mobo pins. Check the manual to confirm you got the right pins, since the markings on the motherboard can sometimes be misleading.

I disconnected the PSU from the motherboard and swithched on. The PSU fan is not spinning.
Does the PSU fan spin only if connected to a motherboard or it should spin even if it is not connected to the mobo.

If the fan should spin even if it is not connected to the motherboard then my power supply is gone.

Am I correct ??

The power supply will not turn on like that. There is a way to jump it to make it come on, but let's not go there right now. Do like the others said and make sure your power switch plug is in the right place.

Make sure the computer isnt shorted out or the motherboard touching the case anywhere on the back of it.

Mobo was touching the case and loosened the screws and the fans now spin for one second and stop.

Any idea why this is happening

The same thing happened to me last time when I failed to mount my CPU properly.
