I'm going to be building a new system soon. It's been about 7 years since my last new computer, so needless to say, I'm a bit out of the loop. Anyway, I've decided that I want to build my system in a P190, and I have a few concerns:
1) I've read that running the motherboard and hard drives on separate power supplies can lead to a dramatically increased rate of disk failures and data loss. Has anyone had these problems with this case?
2) The 200mm fan protrudes into the case very far. Will I be able to run an SLI configuration and stick a Zalman 9700 on my PCU despite the wasted space?
3) OMGWTFPRICE. This case is freaking expensive, but it seems to be exactly what I want (a giant case with great cooling). Are there any alternatives I should consider? It seems to me like the dual PSU configuration is a very effective way to power a system, but I'm not averse to buying a nice case and putting a single PSU in it if that's the way to go.
Thanks in advance for any information you may have.
