This morning I receiived an e-mail from Micro Center with this Subject line:

"Available Monday Aug 7th - The World's Best Dual Core Processors - Intel Core 2 Duo"

YEs, thhey have them. Albeit a little price-gouging

The news was about the seeming arrival of chips. I certainly am not shilling for Micro Center.

As Nightmare225 mentioned, they are engaged in price gouging.

Some people have just been noting who has been doing this and are taking their business elsewhere. My Conroe E6800 is coming from a merchant who is not practicing the above-mentioned form of sleaze.

The prices may be less than stellar, but they are B&M.

$370 for the 6600 does not sound too bad (not great either)
