Corsair 620 modular PS
16GB (4 dimms) of DDR3. Can't recall brand
EVGA GTX680 4GB vid card
samsung 850EVO 500GB solid state drive (OS)
Windows 10
Pretty sure the motherboard is on it's way out so I am trying to weigh the options of just replacing the motherboard and reusing the other components or getting a cpu/ram/mobo and still reusing the rest.
Can anyone throw out some budget suggestions?
I've tried to look at the top thread in this forum but it says "Last edited: Nov 1, 2017" so I'm not sure if that's accurate?
To answer some other questions..
Computer use is mostly internet, vpn, some light games but every now and then some COD multiplayer so I would like to keep that in mind.
Budget for a cpu/ram/mobo - Can I do it for ~350 - 400???

I typically like intel but if AMD is a valid option I will consider.
Don't care about overclocking.
I have dual monitors now. A 27" 1080p Acer and an old dell 24" ultra sharp. I think it's 1920x1200.
I am not in a hurry unless this one goes out. I may can wait until xmas.
One thing I am not sure of is can any of the onboad graphics compete with my aging gtx 680?
