Converting AVI to MOV (Quictime)

I'd like to convert my .avi files into .mov files so that I can organize them in iTunes. Anyone happen to know of a program that will convert .avi to .mov?

Adobe After Effects/Premiere. Costs a good bit of money though...

get a quicktime pro serial? may not work with XVID or DVIX mp4 since apple supports the real MP4. most older avi can be exported to quicktime. its confusing because there are so many avi formats as well as quicktime. nero vision express exports to quicktime compatable MP4 general rule is if quicktime can play it and its not .mpg you can export it to .mov in what ever fromat you want mp4, h.264,h.263 etc.

river past video cleaner can do it but why you want to convert .avi to .mov . mov is crap
;( . convert your avi to dvix or xvid. they are much better codec i think personally.

I should add that most of the files are divx (mostly tv shows, movies etc.). I've got Premiere...just haven't tried that route. I've got Quicktime Pro as well. I'll give 'em all a whirl, as well as Nero Vision. Thanks.

I understand that...but ideally, I'd like to be able to organize all my multimedia (.pdf, .mp3, .mov) within iTunes. iTunes doesn't play .divx.

Macromedia Flash will do it as well, and it's pretty simple to do. Will also work with DivX and Xvid files.
