Ok guys....I need some help with some computer names for my test bed. I have about 15 systems here... My clustering servers are Remus and Romulus and my primary domain controller is Gladiator (it's a Poweredge 4300). I need some more names... I was thinking Bambi and Thumper or something for a pair of win 98 systems I'm setting up... Any other good names?

My main PC is named Frank. My second pc is named Sammy. Both of the Rat Pack.

So here are some suggestions:

Frank [Sinatra]
Sammy [Davis, Jr]
Dean [Martin]
Peter [Lawford]
Joey [Bishop]

Siskel and Ebert
Bonnie and Clyde
Beavis and Butthead

Since you seem to be going with a Roman theme, how about Caesar, Constantine, Nero, Augustus, Scipio. Or you could go during that time period and have Cleopatra, Hannibal, etc.

If you have a small network that is always going to be a small network, it makes no difference. In this case, it's a testbed, so the computers probably aren't going to be scattered across the nation.

And you may have a larger network, but certain finicky and non-technical executives would rather have "cute" computer names because it's easier to remember that the file server is called "AUSTIN_POWERS" than if it's called "NJCAM456-D3"

All the machines here at school are named after "space" things. There are eclipse, spock, jedi, and the main telnet box is yoda
