Cooling issues: Help for a n00bie

I'm running two copies of prime95 on my new gateway gm5076e, at high priority, and on its first night the computer shut down.

People in the post I linked to suggest it's a fan or circulation issue. I'm a total newbie when it comes to fans, so I'm looking for suggestions.

The thing to do with fans is to add some. That has always solved every cooling/case ventilation problem I've ever had.
