I have a A8N-SLI DLX, 3500+ Newcastle & 6600GT, 7x hard drives

I was using an Antec Sonata Quiet Case (original one)
120mm fan behind the HD bays pulling air off them into the case over my chipset hsf

My CPU temps were 39C idle and maybe 50-55C on load (Stock Cooling)

So i realized i had a bigger Cooler Master case (ATCS-201), which was aluminium, has 2 80mm fans in front my the hd bays, pulling air in over the hds and then into the case. And 1 80mm fan pulling air out the back and 1 80mm fan sucking air out of the top of the case. So i figured this would be a much cooler case. I went and spent hours, what seemed like forever transferring 2 computers from thier cases, putting my A8N in the Cooler Master case....

Now my CPU idle temp is 47C, which is 7-8C higher, and even with the side of the case off, its still 45C+, and load temps are 60C+

This is so annoying, i thought i heard someone say, clear cmos if you are getting some strange temps, did that and no improvement. Does this have anything to do with the way the air is coming off the HDs into the case? Only thin i can think of, other then the fact the Antec had 2x 120mm fans and the Cooler Master had 4x 80mm fans...

Also the noise level, is much higher with the cooler master case, but it has more room, as you can see i have a tons of HDs, in the Antec case i had to do some strange mods to get all those HDs in there, i had no room for a floppy even.

Should i go back to the Antec Sonata, and get better cooling and quieter operation, and live with the no floppy and cramped case? Or stick with the Cooler Master case, get a better CPU HSF (that may not even bring me down to the Antec Case temps).

I just want some advice before i spend hours switching stuff again. What do you think?

Here is some pictures of the Cooler Master case

I guess i really have no choice, but to go back to the Sonata, because my place gets up to 33C during the day, and the PC is on 24/7, although i do have the HDs set to turn off on idle, and using RMClock to lower CPU to save power, and lower temps.
