CoolMax PSUs starting to become reliable???

So, I think that for the past few years, it has been the general consensus of the community to stay away from CoolMax PSUs because they are crap and hazardous to your hardware. However, looking online, it seems that recently CoolMax PSUs have gone up significantly in price and, consequently, their reliability ratings and reviews have improved as well. Is it safe to buy their brand of PSUs now that they seemed to have switched OEMs or something?

Coolmax has always been ATNG (hard to sell anything in the states with a name like ATNG). They have never been crap, but got that rep. from a few well-circulated anecdotes.

Coolmax isn't a power supply company that one typically associates with high end power supplies. Never mind high end server power supplies. With so many companies making enthusiast power supplies that put out a lot of power, I suppose Coolmax decided to implement some "server grade" units into the product line-up. Unfortunately, these aren't "enthusiast" power supplies in the sense that you'd necessarily want one sitting three feet from your skull. They are simply too noisy to be practical for most home users. They're good units, but I think Coolmax is going in the wrong direction if not alienating the current clientele for a more "industrial" customer base.

LOTS of power
Solid rails that didn't even move when installed in the "hot box"
Lots of nicely sleeved, long cables
Active Power Factor Correction
The Bad....

Expensive
Loudest thing in the room
The Mediocre....

Efficiency with 115V input was disappointing
Looks like the kind of product that would power a Univac 1107!
