Copying a Win XP partition backup

Basically, what I want to do is copy my WinXP partition on my old drive to a newer drive. I used Norton Ghost to do the job, but when I boot my system is on G: and my page-file in on C:, where G: is the new drive and C: is the old drive. If I remove the old drive, I cannot boot any longer. So I am looking for a program that will directly mirror the partitions; or at least fix this problem.

What do you mean by copy?
You need to make an image of your C partition when you are not logged into it. So, it is better to do it from DOS.

Now that you have an image, boot to DOS again and restore the image on the new drive.
Power down.
Remove the old drive.
Make the partition on the new drive the active partition and reboot.

Make sure you remove the old drive. If you don't, the drive letters will be screwed up!
Also, make sure that the partition numbers are the same. So, if the OS is on the first partition on the old drive, make sure that the image is restored onto the first partition on the new drive.
