Counter Strike Question - CD Keys

I am currently running a burned copy of HL - and obviously can no longer play CS with the same CD-key as my friend who burned it for me.

What are my options to buy if I just want a cd-key to play CS? Can I buy opposing forces or blue shift and use those keys or should I just buy the retail version of CS? I'm confused...

your best bet would be buying a copy of half life goty ed and then download cs.. opposing force uses different cd key from halflife and i would expect the same with blueshift..

I guess I would go with that pack Here. Since you get HalfLife, OppForces and you can D/L CS.

Thanks, I went with that package. That's a very good deal, as I couldn't find just half-Life GOTYE for less than 27
