I was reading a couple articles a few days ago, and a couple questions came to mind that I wasn't sure about. I figured this'd be the plase to ask them. First of all, What exactly is CAS in memory? And what's the difference between straight CAS and CAS 2? Is 2 just a newer version or soemthing? Also, do most modern chipsets include the PCI bridge in the South Bridge chip, or as a seperate physical chip?
