My trumpie, non vaccinated, mask refusing sister texted me all upset over her latest trip to walmart. Shelves were bare, walmart didn't have her granola bars, didn't have any bread other than hamburger buns, was out of her brand of cat food, the bananas were black and rotten, she was all upset.

In my subtle way I explained to her what did you expect? Covid has spiked while people still refuse to vaccinate, shoppers especially the walmart shoppers never wear masks just like my sister, the store staff are getting ill and calling in sick, no staff to stock shelves, and I warned her to expect stores like walmart and grocery stores to be forced to drastically cut hours. I told her don't be surprised when walmart opens at 7am and forced to close at 4pm due to staff shortages. That will toss a wrench into my sisters shopping habits.

And as she then went on to bashed and blamed Biden, I reminded her that Biden has nothing to do with this. The problen has been all along and is still today those naysayers who stubbornly refuse to mask up and refuse to vaccinate. Things have gotten so bad, again, continually, ongoing, that you would expect people to finally wake up and connect the dots. But instead we have republican governors as well as within our own state now suing Biden over mandates to ensure that Covid goes on and on getting worse and worse until the walmarts shut down completely and every school teacher is sick with covid and unable to work.

We are entering a new phase of total insanity where the insane are running the show and the insane republican governors are responsible for shortages and closures and they can't even see it yet alone admit it. And I expect this Donald Trump US supreme court to join right in on the insanity. They are blind to their own insanity. Just like the drooling residents in the insane asylum, wondering around, clueless to reality, piss running down their legs. This is where we have landed and where we are heading. Total complete insanity.

I had a co-worker out last week with covid. I would have sworn he would have been a strict anti-vaxxer, I was wrong. He came back today and he had all 3 Pfizer shots which surprised me, I guess his wife being an oncological nurse she influenced him.

The scary part to me was that he still had two days that he felt like utter dog crap, and he looks a bit weak and shaky today, and gets out of breath walking to the break room. These are the type of stories that I don't like to hear. The respiratory effects are the scariest to me, and stories like his don't help the because the anti-vaxxers say "see! didn't do him any good!" although he may have died otherwise without the vaccine.

You should not be scared because the vaccines work. Little to nothing will convince real antivaxxers so who cares what they think, they can take their chances and suffer the consequences.

So your sister thinks Biden hasn't gone far enough with the OSHA vaccine mandate?

  1. In an ideal world, the vaccine would provide 100% protection... well neither do condoms nor seat belts offer that.
  2. The next best option is that the vaccine provides sufficient protection to limit the severity of the case.
  3. The next best option is that the vaccine provides sufficient protection to keep you out of the hospital.
  4. The next best option is that the vaccine provides sufficient protection to keep you out of the ICU.
  5. The next best option is that the vaccine provides sufficient protection to keep you out of the morgue.

Maybe some people do achieve the first level... not sure how that could be tracked.
The majority of vaccinated people do fall under 2 through 5.

Personally I prefer #1, but #2 works, as does #3, #4, and #5.

Yeah, it's about damage-limitation now, really, it seems to me. Even a trade-off of risks, if you really want to concentrate on the tiny chance of negative vaccine effects. I can't say I'm ecstatic at the idea of repeatedly needing to get boosters, but it may be that's what the choice comes down to, and I'll take it if its offered. Goddam this evil bastard virus, though. It's really peeing me off now.

I'm not pissed at the virus, but at the enablers of the virus, the stupid, trumpanzee's and republicans... but I repeat myself.

I have a great idea.
We've tried it their way for the last two years and look where we are, so I say lets try it our way now.
Their way... not masking, not vaccinating, just letting the virus spread like a plague.
Our way... everyone vaccinated, everyone masked.
WHY is it always THEIR WAY? Especially when THEIR WAY always proves disastrous? Well now its our turn, and for our way. And not necessarily for the two years as they were given, lets just do it our way for one year, then after one year with everyone vaccinated no exceptions and everyone masked no exceptions, after that one year we can compare their way vs our way. And the side with the least infections declared the winner, and that winning formula adopted as the official formula for fighting Covid.
This would be sound and fair with finally proving which method is the correct method to fight covid.

Well I get that as well, but, I'm just saying, if I ever get my hands on this virus, I'm going to give it a damn good thrashing.

Swallowing UV light tubes won.

I thought that swallowing batteries would automatically connect to the hydroxychloroquine on the inside and begin emitting that glorious UV radiation.

Pretty sure I read that on Breitbart forums… maybe I should repost it.

Batteries alone won't do it. You need to add in a couple of rare-earth magnets in order to get everything to stay connected.

Don't forget that the batteries must be swallowed with at least 8oz of urine.
