I have no idea how this transpired to the bank locking my mom's account, which is what we have to find out now.

Because Corporations are using computers for Nefarious purposes now with the blessing of the Government and Courts.

You had it right in your OP.

Why are Americans tolerating this clear abuse?

Because you and other conspiracy theorist whackjobs like you are the only ones telling America about this "clear abuse" and you're completely lacking in credibility.

So you go calling out the OP, then get your ass handed back to you when the facts are in and the Bank is indeed wrong. You need to stop trolling these kinds of threads.

Try reading, it's fundamental. I didn't "call" the OP out on anything.

The ones that side with the Corporations using computers for Nefarious purposes, well that's another thing.

Of course, I was only attacking Vic for saying rude things to the OP, and making false assumptions about a situation that he didn't know about. Nothing there concerning you.

That's the point.

It's our money in the banks and they just take it or freeze it when and for whatever they please.

Wells Fargo stole $550 from me as soon as I left Denver last year in November.

When I went to use the money for a birthday present for my wife in February I found the bank had not only wiped the account out for "inactivity" but demanded another $48 to close the account or they were going to rack up additional charges.

Nothing but pure theft by your beloved Corporations.

Did you just quote another poster from another thread and use it as proof as to how Vic feels?

Nothing new from Dave here. He's in longstanding denial of the fact that if the they he believes in really do exist, that he gives them all the credibility they could ever need or want. What he spouts is so whacked, so outlandish, so lacking in intelligence, scientific facts, basic common sense, and credibility, that I swear that he must be shilling as some kind of agent provocateur for Them[ (if they actually do exist).

edit: I finally read what Dave posted from spidey07 (apparently attempting to attribute it to me) and the strange thing there is that I totally disagree with what spidey said AND I can't figure out how it is even remotely relevant to this thread.

Thanks, but I'm not the only one here to point out that the OP's story didn't add up. My guesses were that (1) the information we're getting here is 3rd-hand, and (2) as I already mentioned, the OP's mother was a victim of identity theft which she has failed to properly address or resolve until the situation had gotten out of hand. You'll notice the account was unfrozen once the OP actually had the issue addressed, and I'm not sure how I had my "ass handed" to me when my guesses were dead-on.

Try thinking clearly and not siding with the known troll.

Again, more trolling. How do you know when your identity is stolen? How will you catch it? Most people don't know until the bills start coming in. How will a person who speaks limited English fight people who stole her identity?

I don't think you know what the definition of "troll" is. Here's a hint: it's not when some disagrees with you, or you disagree with them. It's more like when some idiot looking for attention rails against "the Corporations!" (or similar nebulous evil) on an issue involving a court order, and then calls out unfounded accusations to anyone who tries to point out where he's mistaken. Get it?

Next, your little questions here aren't of issue. I refer you back to how the account was unfrozen once the issue was actually addressed. How a person should actually deal with preventing identity theft is another issue entirely. In the case of the OP's mother who speaks limited English, I would recommend one of the many identity protection services, along with using her legal protections enacted under FACTA to prevent unauthorized access to her credit.
I'll also refer you back to an earlier post of mine in this thread:
And the rude response is due to your troll in the thread title. Obviously all of America is screwed up because some bank screwed up. And clearly banks just love freezing the accounts of their customers in order to serve collection agencies who are not their customers. Yep. Airtight logic right there!
Yours, Dave's, and the OP's little conspiracy theory doesn't add up. The bank didn't profit. They had no motive for evil. That you keep pushing this little conspiracy theory is what makes you the troll here.

I agree with going after the company that started all this, but why the bank? They're issued a court order, they follow through on that. If there was a mistake on the order or on their part, their only requirement is to unfreeze the accounts, not to apologize to you or give you free money.
