Crickety noise on driver's side

2011 MDX ACURA TECH ....hearing a clickety noise on the drivers side that sounds like a branch is stuck in the wheel...worsens with speed...stops with breaking...recent flat tire on right rear....not noticing with turns...help please... Soft

wear and tear. I cannot tell you how much it costs to replace where you are.

Did you make sure nothing else was flopping around, like an ABS sensor wire, or a loose brake backing plate? "Crickety, or Clickety" can often be minor things like that, unlike "rumbly, grindy or clunkety" sounds which are often more serious.

Hi ferelkid.....the noise went away....yahoo.....still didn't see anything....it went away after my sister used it...she is a little rougher than me on driving her......lol...probably broke up whatever was causing it....thank you for the different suggestions and ideas..very kind of you...she is driving well....Soft

I had backing plates go... after they rusted nearly away. Noisy, but thankfully, not too hard to take care of, if you get a shop to simply remove them.

Thank you VirtualLarry...but the noise has disappeared...poof....I think my sister shimmied or shook something...she has a 96 mustang gt...voom voom...she drives my little v6 like her v8...lol...well stay safe and well Soft.

lol, vehicles don't repair themselves by driving recklessly. It should be jacked up, wheel removed, brakes and suspension inspected, undercarriage and exhaust, etc. Poke, pry, pull, and have a strong flashlight with you.

Whatever is wrong could get worse and leave you in a bad situation depending on what it is, where and how fast you're driving at the time.

It might be something as simple as loose lug nuts. Why did you ask about tampering, is someone out to get you? If that's a serious concern, I wouldn't let anyone drive it till it's thoroughly checked, especially not someone with a lead foot.
