lol, vehicles don't repair themselves by driving recklessly. It should be jacked up, wheel removed, brakes and suspension inspected, undercarriage and exhaust, etc. Poke, pry, pull, and have a strong flashlight with you.
Whatever is wrong could get worse and leave you in a bad situation depending on what it is, where and how fast you're driving at the time.
It might be something as simple as loose lug nuts. Why did you ask about tampering, is someone out to get you? If that's a serious concern, I wouldn't let anyone drive it till it's thoroughly checked, especially not someone with a lead foot.
