critical kernel power event ID 41

I have been having relatively often BSOD's and lockups on my computer, where I might be doing some multi-tasking, but certainly enough that my computer could be able to handle it. My system had been running fine for 2 months since I bought it in late June, just recently having these random shutdowns and hangups, which started a week or two ago.
In the event log, these are the following details:

i2500K (not overclocked) w/ Corsair Cooling Air Series A50 Performance CPU Cooler

OCZ StealthXStream 600W ATX12V
Western Digital Caviar SE16 640GB

That kernel power event 41 is the message that Windows gives when the computer was shut down/reset improperly. What is the actual error message on the blue screen that you get before it reboots?

The thing is I do not get an error, my screen goes black, and then 6 seconds later programs stop working and I hear a jarring sound from my headphones. Sometimes it turns off my computer automatically, sometimes I just have this black screen and have to turn off the computer myself because it is unresponsive. Everytime this happens though it is this critical error message I get in the event viewer. I have tried decoding the BugCheckCode as per Microsoft's instructions, but to no avail, as it doesnt work for me somehow....

Try running with just 2 sticks and see if it happens.

I have been running 4x4gb for a month before this without much problem though, and have run numerous memory diagnostics, all which found no problem...the two things I could see it potentially being would be my PSU failing or the like, or drivers of something...the only thing is one should be able to decipher this BugCheckCode to find out exactly the problem, but I havent been able to do that

How is the temperature on your gpu and cpu.

CPU temp is 45C, not OCed, and running Corsair Cooling Air Series A50 Performance CPU Cooler.
GPU temp with 7 chrome tabs and several non-intensive programs running is 42C.

I also just reformatted, and have gotten the same error when I was running Starcraft 2 and watching a youtube video at the same time, which should be perfectly fine with 16GB of RAm and the specs that I have. Hell, my 5 year old laptop can do that.

Therefore, I am pretty sure it is a hardware problem, but still do not know. Any help with this would again be greatly appreciated!
