Filesize is pretty large due to all the pics (even compressed at 65%)... other option was to have it load separate .swfs but overall the load time is the same.

Other comments on it, as if you were looking for a condo ?

not centered ? It is with IE6, FF 1.5, & Opera 9 here.. what browser pls ? Are you talking about a specific section ?

It's centered horizontally, but not vertically (i.e. it's at the top of the page). I use Firefox.

it may not be in the exact center, but for me (opera 9 here) it works and looks great. nice site dude!

I'm looking to do something similar for my small biz. Is that all Flash? Any suggestions on where to start?

I would ditch that "Message from the president" deal if at all possible. At least get rid of the "$" bullet points...

If you have to have it there, at least get a background image or something... it's very drab for being the intro to the entire site.

Flashkit.com's sample movies (.fla files) are a good way to disect and learn. It took me quite a few months to really get a good understanding of everything. I personally don't recommend books - much slower. If you have questions, forums are where it's at.

He decided to cut it shorter so it's fixed now.

This is pretty much go-live condition tonight... he took out ads in the paper and everything for tomorrow. Thanks for checking everyone.
